Alexin is a city located on the southwestern tip of Tyvia.
History[]
It is said that in the distant past, many years before the War of Four Crowns, a legendary military hero known as Prince Kallisarr, conquered the entire island of Tyvia, as well as Gristol itself. As he moved towards Morley, a jealous lover poisoned him. Dying in pain and agony, he uttered his last words: "Tyvia and the Isles will be one."
Due to the popularity of this legend, and despite doubts of its veracity, many natives of Alexin believe in the unification of the four islands and supported joining the Empire early on. During the Morley Insurrection, Alexin provided some of the most fervent soldiers, fighting to subdue the rebels. Some in Alexin believe that it will eventually be their right to rule over the Isles as heirs to Prince Kallisarr. For now, they are content to wait.[1]

- The name Alexin bears a great resemblance to Aleksin, a real-life Russian city.
- The city is missing from the new map of the Empire in Dishonored 2. This mistake was corrected on the present map but not in the game and the official artbook, The Art of Dishonored 2. This includes the ornamented map in the Royal Chambers in Dunwall Tower.
