Blueprint

Blueprints are schematics that Corvo AttanoDaud, and Emily Kaldwin can retrieve throughout the games of the Dishonored franchise. Some of these blueprints upgrade their equipment, and some produce new kinds of ammunition.

Lens Magnification "A diagram for increasing stability in a multi-lens array. Piero can use this to upgrade the magnifying lenses in your mask." Bought from Griff's Curio Shop.
Sokolov's Formula "The formula for Sokolov's Elixir. Piero can use this to distill a liquid that restores health and protects against the rat plague." Bought from Griff's Curio Shop or found in Anton Sokolov's greenhouse during The Royal Physician.
Bonded Galvani Weave "A chemical treatment that can be applied to cloth or leather. Piero can use this to upgrade your armor and clothing." Found during the mission High Overseer Campbell, in a locked cabinet in the Overseers' workshop in the Back Yard or during The Flooded District in Daud's chest.
Incandescent Paste "A pyrotechnic substance that ignites to produce intense light for a short duration. Piero can use this to upgrade your crossbow bolts." Found during House of Pleasure in the Distillery in the room behind the rolling metal door or during The Flooded District in a basement near the Gateward Tunnel exit.
Folded Galvani Resin "A substance that increases flexibility and strength in vulcanized materials. Piero can use this to reduce the sound generated by your boots." Found during The Royal Physician in the first warehouse on the desk next to the electric cart lever or during The Flooded District in Daud's chest.
Spiked Grenade Housing "A barb-covered casing design that enables grenades to embed in most surfaces. Piero can use this to upgrade your grenades." Found during Lady Boyle's Last Party in the security office at the entrance to the Boyle Mansion or during The Flooded District in the looters' warehouse.
Small-scale Combustion Refinement "A chemical process that can be used to stagger combustibility rates. Piero can use this to upgrade your pistol ammunition." Found during Return to the Tower in General Tobias's office or during The Flooded District inside an abandoned rail car in Central Rudshore.

The Knife of Dunwall blueprints

Small-scale Explosive Refinement "A chemical process that enables explosive properties. You can use this to upgrade your bolts, enabling them to explode on contact." Found during A Captain of Industry inside the safe in the shipping office near the Wall of Light. The safe code is found in a pouch underwater beneath the barge, or, if the Safe Code favor is purchased before the mission, written on the wall behind the boathouse.
Compact Arc Amplifier "Method for conducting massive quantities of electrical energy through a compact and concentrated delivery device. Allows you to use Arc Mines that electrocute those who come too close." (also unlocks stun mines and their respective upgrades) Found during A Captain of Industry in a warehouse beside the main entrance into the Rothwild Slaughterhouse.
Bonded Galvani Weave A chemical treatment that can be applied to cloth or leather. You can use this to upgrade your armor." Found during Eminent Domain in the Timsh Estate, locked inside a chest on either the first, third, or fourth floor.

The Brigmore Witches blueprints

Small-scale Explosive Refinement "A chemical process that enables explosive properties. You can use this to upgrade your bolts, enabling them to explode on contact." Found during The Dead Eels in a room outside Nurse Trimble's lab.

Dispersed Incendiary Release Allows for the purchase of Incendiary Bolts. Found on in a safe on the second floor of Alistair Fletcher's office overlooking the Campo Seta Dockyards during the mission Edge of the World, accessible through an open window, or in the Addermire operating theater next to Doctor Alexandria Hypatia during the mission The Good Doctor.
Fire Hardening Treatment Improves Crossbow Bolts to deal extra damage. Found on the third floor of the Overseer Outpost during Edge of the World, on the desk near an outdoor balcony, or on the desk outside the matron's office on the third floor of Addermire Institute during The Good Doctor.
Combat Sleep Dart Formula Improves Sleep Darts so that their effect is instantaneous. Found in a safe on a dilapidated floor overlooking the main lobby in the Addermire Institute, during the mission The Good Doctor or in Alexandria Hypatia's room on the Dreadful Wale during the mission Dust District.
Mercury Vapor Distillation Allows for the purchase and upgrade of Stinging Bolts. Found during The Good Doctor in Joe Hamilton's quarters at the very top of the central staircase, in the Addermire Institute, or in the cabinet surrounded by the Howler ambush near Aventa Station during The Clockwork Mansion.
Pyro-Sonic Casing Allows for the purchase of Howling Bolts. Found during The Clockwork Mansion in a locked security booth in the Lower Aventa carriage station. The key can be purchased from the district's black market shop.
Alloy Polarization Improves Bullets to briefly stun Clockwork Soldiers. Found during The Clockwork Mansion on the third floor of the Upper Aventa Grand Guard Office, or on the desk in the archive room in the Royal Conservatory during the mission of the same name.
Conductive Filaments Improves Stun Mines to chain shocks to secondary targets. Found during The Clockwork Mansion in an office above the Clockwork Mansion's waiting room or during the mission Dust District below the windmill at Batista Overlook.
Slug Splintering Wedges Improves Bullets to ricochet off hard surfaces, such as enemy armor. Found during The Clockwork Mansion in the desk on the top floor of Kirin Jindosh's laboratory or during The Royal Conservatory on Breanna Ashworth's desk.
Reverberation Tubing Allows for the purchase of the Masterwork upgrades for the Howling Bolts. Found during The Royal Conservatory in the shopkeeper's associate's lookout in Cyria Gardens.
Triggered Housing Improves Grenades to explode on contact with any living organism. Found during The Royal Conservatory, in a workshop on the first floor of the Royal Conservatory.
Configurable Grooving Allows for the purchase of the Masterwork upgrades for the Crossbow. Given by the black market shopkeeper after retrieving the Roseburrow Prototype for him.
Secondary Coiling Improves Spring Razors to activate twice before breaking. Found during the mission Dust District in the basement of the Crone's Hand Saloon.
Spiked Grenade Housing Allows for the purchase of Sticky Grenades. Found during the mission Dust District on the second floor of the Crone's Hand Saloon, inside a steel crate, or in the past during A Crack in the Slab, on a desk near the proposed extension to Stilton Manor.
Firing Chamber Pivot Allows for the purchase of the Masterwork upgrades for the Pistol. Found during A Crack in the Slab in a safe in a locked vault adjacent to the dining room of Aramis Stilton's manor, in the past. Accessible by swapping into the primary present to enter the vault, then to the past to access the safe.
Small-Scale Combustion Refinement Allows for the purchase of Explosive Bullets. Found during The Grand Palace in the apartment of Carlos Marletto, on Ravina Boulevard.
Folded Galvani Resin Lessens boot sound, increasing stealth. Found during The Grand Palace in the secret chamber in the Grand Palace's cellar.
Blade Conversion Allows for the purchase of the Masterwork upgrades for the Sword. Found during The Grand Palace in the office of Duke Luca Abele.
Dual-Layered Galvani Weave Allows for the purchase of the Masterwork upgrades for armor. Found during Death to the Empress aboard the Dreadful Wale, inside the briefing chamber.
Counter-Blast Inversion Allows for the purchase of the Masterwork upgrades for Grenades. Found during Death to the Empress, in the apartment of Doctor Galvani.

Trivia

  • All blueprints found in the Dishonored franchise have the same appearance, that of a control panel from Dishonored, labelled Wall of Light.
    • The exception to this is Masterwork upgrade blueprints, which have a yellow background instead, but the design is the same.
  • There are two unused blueprints in Dishonored, both revolving around the rewire tool.
    • Rewire Tool: "Allows you to rewire technological circuitry and turn security systems to your advantage. Consumed on usage."
    • Wall of Light Circuitry: "A schematic of the Wall of Light used by the City Watch. Piero can use this to teach you to disable Walls of Light."
  • If playing in New Game +, collecting blueprints that have already been collected will yield 200 bonus coins.
